Background
Mozilla now requires that extensions have to be signed by them - our own signing functionality no longer has a point, as this signature would be ignored/overwritten anyway.
What to change
Remove signing functionality from build tools. Drop the -k command line switch when calling build.py build or build.py release for Gecko builds.
